Opportunity:
We are looking for a talented developer to join our experienced development team, who develop and maintain our market-leading, hospital management system, in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist with the development of new functions and features and help the team achieve critical delivery goals.

The role requires an individual who is able to take a requirement and turn it into a solution within agreed timescales and to exacting standards. The role will suit a developer with a track record of successful delivery of high-quality and robust code. The individual will need to be a good team worker with good communication skills.
Role Specification:
- Build high quality, scalable, performant and secure .NET based applications.
- Problem solver by nature who enjoys working with complex technical and functional requirements.
- Write well-defined, commented, maintainable and testable code.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn and personally grow own career.
- Recommend improvements to existing software applications through R&D and innovations.
- Be pro-active in identifying technical risks.
- Ability to understand and appreciate different software architecture, topography, and design patterns.
- Comfortable working across different Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core, WPF, VB, etc.)
- Work as part of a development team, participating in daily stand ups, sprint planning and estimation.
- Able to work across multiple projects at different lifecycles (legacy, green field, etc.)
- Appreciate the bigger picture surrounding software projects including timescales, testing, client delivery, etc.
- Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, including .NET Core 3+.
- Proficient in C# with a good knowledge of its ecosystem.
- Practical understanding of Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core.
- Capable of working effectively with Microsoft SQL Server database.
- Familiarity with data objects and structures such as JSON and XML.
- Comfortable working on client-side technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
- Working with Visual Studio, GIT, DevOps.
- Experience working with data driven, software development models.
Desirable Requirements:
- Blazor Server/Wasm.
- Redis distributed cache.
- Typescript.
- SQL server performance tuning: indexing, query plan analysis, and query refactoring.
- Windows server operating systems, DevOps build and release pipelines.
Package:
- Competitive Negotiable (depending on experience).
- 35 hour working week.

Appointment Process:
The appointment will be made following an interview, comprising of up to three stages including a technical test/scenario. Each stage may be conducted through Microsoft Teams or in person and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. During the interview, the candidate’s career and education history will be reviewed; ample time will also be available during the interview for questions.
For the interview, we will require:
- Proof of ID i.e. copy of current passport.
- Copies of any personal or professional references.
- Education certificates (if appropriate).
