The availability of rooms and equipment can be checked using the on-line facilities booking system.
Using the Trust’s intranet, users can log-into the on-line facilities booking system to check whether facilities are available for a specific event. Users may check all rooms or a specific room using a week or month calendar or a daily view. Search parameters can also be applied to select only those rooms suitable for the event, for instance:
Subject to local requirements, booking requests can be made using the on-line facilities booking system. At this stage, details of the purpose of the event, the event date and time and the room(s), equipment and catering requirements can be specified, producing a provision booking request on the main facilities booking system. Progress and confirmation of a booking can then be monitored using the on-line facilities booking system.
