FORUM, Hicom’s facilities booking system has been developed to allow you to quickly and efficiently monitor and control the booking of facilities within your organisation.

The system is highly flexible and has been developed in conjunction with Postgraduate Centre Managers to fulfill a wide range of operational and reporting requirements.

FORUM manages the hiring of rooms, equipment and catering and facilitates the entry and management of:

  • Single or repeat bookings
  • Academic calendar bookings
  • Bookings for internal or external clients
  • Chargeable and non-chargeable events, including internal billing
  • Multiple rooms (each with associated times)
  • Equipment required (by room)
  • Catering requirements

Room availability can be checked and facilities can be booked using the central diary or via the intranet using the On-Line Facilities Booking system.

A number of pre-defined management and statistical reports are also available, which are supplemented by a powerful report generator tool enabling user-defined reports, graphs and outputs to be produced.
