Hand-Held Devices

Hicom have developed a number of portable software systems that can be used as an alternative or complimentary to a conventional PC-based software solution.

Using hand held devices including Palm Pilots™, iPAQs™ and Psions™, Hicom’s applications can be deployed for use by people who are disconnected from the main network for the collection or analysis of data.

This provides access to data whilst on a home visit or ward round, as well as collecting information on details such as doctor’s activities and shift times.

Hicom’s portable software systems can be syncronised with Hicom’s primary healthcare products to enable information to be collected remotely and then integrated into the main database.
