We are pleased to announce that Hicom has been awarded a place on the Software-as-a-Service tier of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) G-Cloud 8 agreement. This follows the CCS previously awarding us a place on the G-Cloud 7 framework in April 2016.
Why should organisations use the framework?
G-Cloud 8 is a framework agreement between the government and suppliers from which public sector organisations can adopt services without needing to run a full tender or procurement process.
It gives buyers access to more suppliers and their services across the UK, and it is both easier and quicker for them to purchase via G-Cloud than via other procurement routes, including the Official Journal of the European Community (OJEU).
During the competitive tender process and regular benchmarking, CCS ensures organisations have access to the most competitive deals, with all pricing and contractual arrangements completely transparent.
Suppliers are carefully evaluated during the tender process and pre-agreed terms and conditions offer customers sound contractual safeguards. All suppliers must be at a certain standard of proficiency and economic creditability to be listed, which ultimately provides buyers with additional assurance. Being awarded a place on a government's framework also provides credibility to companies like Hicom, and offers a level playing field for every supplier listed.
John Sanderson, Director, Hicom, comments: "We are thrilled to be able to offer our services within the government initiative and it continues to be a great opportunity to make the public sector procurement process a lot simpler for our organisations. We thrive in being able to help businesses take advantage of new technologies to improve both efficiency and patient care."
